For many of us, worrying about where we will get water is not high on our list of struggles. Often it only requires moving a few rooms away or anywhere there happens to be a tap. However in Swaziland, the story is very different. In order to get water in rural villages, most kids are having to walk around 2 kilometers. At the end of this journey there is no tap, there is no bottle, there is only unfiltered river water. Full of bacteria, diseases, animal feces and much more. Not to mention, most of these rivers are crawling with ‘Ngwenya’ (Alligators), resulting in some children not making the journey home. This is the harsh reality of many children who are orphaned because of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. 

Adventure Soccer is working to put bore hole wells in each of our rural church locations. Although extremely expensive, the task is non-negotiable!
